Edo Period. 36 1/4" length. Cane shaft with horn nock. Brown over white fletching of the form shown on instruction manuals of the period, secured with brown silk thread. Cream pigmented fletch area. Fine willow leaf form iron head crisp and bright. Stone notes that this form is the most usual found on war arrows. A little age-darkened throughout, the fletching sound with some tattering of the cardinal spine. Fine proportions.
