FINE ANTIQUE SILVER AND HORN SWAGGER STICK

$225.00

23 ¼” length with tapered horn shaft and silver cap, unmarked, but for STERLING along the edge. Old typewritten label secured with cellophane tape reads "My swagger made from the tip of a carabao horn." Carabao is the name for the water buffalo in the Philippines, suggesting a 1899-1902 Philippine Insurrection origin for this swagger stick. Small blemishes as expected. The “STERLING” worn from repeated polishing.
