The figure, probably a bishop, wearing a biretta (Spanish form of the four cornered hat) with his hands clasped in prayer, stands on a globe with a crescent applied to the front with a wood peg. Below, a stepped wood base. A well carved folk figure probably representing a revered local liturgical figure, now anonymous. Well carved with good character. Probably second half of the 19th century.åÊ åÊ
