KONDA SLAVER'S SWORD

$415.00

19th century. 14 5/8" blade made for hacking in close quarters. The base swelled and squared point. Low medial, the field uniformly chisel textured. Wood hilt with flared base and inverted conical pommel. The top with an irregular shaped iron plate secured with iron tacks, probably with mystical significance considering its form and that iron working was considered a satanic pursuit. Lower grip wrapped in copper trade wire. Well preserved for its age and use.
