RARE VARIATION CELTIC DAGGER 600-300 BC

Forged iron, 5 ¾” length. Curved edge blade with medial ridge each side resulting in a quite thick section. Integral ring pommel probably serving as a finger loop as there is no designated grip. The only way in which this knife could be used effectively is with a middle finger in the loop and the blade thrust downward, for which it is well suited. Only such example we have seen.
