CELTIC RING POMMEL DAGGER C.300BC-100AD

$425.00
The period of the Roman conquest of England and Scotland. Forged iron, 6 5/8” length straight back blade (thin for slashing). Broad curved tang, originally wrapped in leather with ring pommel. As well, the narrow profile made it a fine thrusting weapon. Optimizing both functions, this example is the Celtic fighting knife in its iconic developed form. Professionally conserved condition.
