Forged iron, 8 1/4” length with slightly curved back wedge section blade and forged tang pierce for rivets to secure the grip scales. The blade of thin section showing no repeated sharpening, distinguishing it as a weapon and not a work knife or tool. Excavated with considerable original surface remaining.
