9‰۝ wedge section blade of elegant form with a slightly raised recurved point. intricate silver sheet and wire work grip base below one piece ivory grip. Elegant silver sheathed scabbard swelling toward the flat oval end. Encased in sheet silver and intricate silver wire banding. Seamed in the middle with a small dent/distortion. the lower portion with a silver star or stylized flower. Original cord wrap and tassels. Type specific to eastern Burma as well as the adjacent mountain tribes in Thailand and Laos.
