7 1/2" medially ridged slightly recurved d.e. blade with tool finish and good patina. One piece horn grip with high pointed defensive pommel mounted with a ring. See our other Barbary pirate’s sword in a similar style. Early 19th century with expected deterioration including delamination of the horn. Barbary pirates raided Mediterranean coastal towns taking plunder and slaves (primarily Italian and Greek) which were sold in the Arab slave market. Great age character.
