27 7/8” length, skillfully carved of cedar with self nock. Swelled in the middle and tapered to the ends. The socket cord or sinew wrapped and both ends with faded old red coloring. Small forged iron trade head, quite crisp which suggests the earlier part of the dating above. No evidence of fletching which would have been lashed on. Probably used for hunting small game. One of four, the only ones we have offered, with old inked collection number.
