Some historians believe that avoiding completing the circle as with conventional rings had spiritual significance for Vikings. The top engraved with a hound’s tooth saltire flanked by transverse lines.  Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored, for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
