Imperial period. Gilt bronze with 2.8mm slightly rounded face band slightly flared to the roped shoulders. Large circular bezel inscribed with the Tree of Life with the sorcerer’s lituus at its side. The lituus was the wand with which the sorcerer defined an area in the sky within which he viewed bird flights and like reading tea leaves, predicted the future from the information he gathered. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.  Fine wearable example.
