8 ½” blade with clipped point in two stages. Marked LANDERS EXTRA QUALITY WARRANTED to the right side. Landers, Frary & Clark were well known cutlers dating to the Civil War. This knife was evidently made by a smaller manufacturer, probably a relative of George Landers. Two piece wood scale grips capped with pewter in the then popular manner. The pewter oxidized, and the wood with age graining. Blade crisp with gray patina.
