RARE INDOPERSIAN CRESCENT FORM ARROWHEAD, 17TH-19TH CENTURY

$265.00

4 ¾” height, 3 ¾” width thin crescent form point on slender tapered tang. Forge iron with clear pattern showing. Probably made for demonstration of archery skills such as rope cutting. Very rare but at least one other, claimed to be for attacking war elephants is known. That function is, however, not possible as there is insufficient weight to penetrate elephant hide.
