Mughal,17th-18th century. 27 5/8‰۝ length. Heavy iron head swelling from the base to a faceted point. The base with copper and brass spacers. Cane shaft with silk wrap to the fletch area securing the wood nock. Fletching perished as always encountered. Used on high fortifications, some many hundreds of feet high, these were shot down, the weighted heads adding to the energy on impact and making them useless for firing back in return.
