17th-18th century. Punjabi form iron hilt with vase shaped grip, dished pommel and trefoil quillon terminals. See Indian Arms and Armour, Pant, Vil I #298. 28 ¾” curved slab sided blade with beveled edges and long raised false edge. Gray patina throughout with scattered black oxidation typical for its age.  Good early example.
