INDOPERSIAN ARROWHEAD, 16TH-18TH CENTURY

$60.00

Over 4 ½” total length with a pyramidal point on the cylindrical body. Tapered tang. Evidently never mounted. Dating to the City State wars of North India and probably marketed during the 1980-84 arsenal dispersals following the disenfranchisement of the maharajas. Light surface texture and some finger rust. Large supplies of arrows were kept unmounted as the nature of battles would dictate the type of head required. Heavy siege points, flesh cutters, and armor-piercing points were kept in quantity and mounted as needed.
