Iron hilt with tapered, thickened edge side guards chiseled with circular floral matrixes. The centers of each circle pierced forming a lattice. Double swelled center grips. 9 ½” double-edged thickened point armor piercing blade with deep double fullers and evidence of watered steel patterning.  The blade base is encased in chiseled arabesque form mounts. Later velvet-covered wood scabbard. Excellent quality with some wear and scattered pitting but unusually, not over polished with metal loss as usually encountered.
