Southeast Asia, probably Siamese. 36 arrows, 16-18" length, each shaped from a cane segment, the ends with folded leaf fletching secured with binding to the terminal. The tips originally poisoned, now removed. The quiver made of a bamboo segment with the joint membrane forming the bottom and a palm leaf cushion inside to protect the poisoned tips. A bamboo shoot and segment of its trunk form the belt hook secured with woven split cane bands which engage a raised splinter of the bamboo body. Excellent with fine intricate cane weaving. The body with dark age patina and two vertical cracks as always encountered. Arrows about excellent with occasional minor damage to the fletching. Two other carved items with the arrows. The group filling the quiver to capacity for fine display.
