Gilt bronze, slightly over size 9. Deeply rounded 2.6mm band with a high roped crest over 2/3 its circumference. The roped or spiral form (helix) was a favorite of Vikings and likely was thought to have mystical powers. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
