Early Dark Ages when Christianity was recognized by Rome but the balance of Europe followed Pagan worship. Gilt bronze, size 10 ¼ with 4.1mm rounded face band expanding to the shoulders. Circular bezel cut with a cross, on radial ground intended to obscure the cross. The result, presumably, could be seen as abstract if necessary. The ring of a Christian in a treacherous world where your choice of Gods could mean life or death. Professionally refurbished with 24karat gold overlay restored, for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
