Iron hilt with double finger stall contour. Decorated overall with parrot hear pommel, calligraphy band base with addorsed peacocks below the  central cartouche. Worn inlay, probably brass, originally gilt. 12 ½” blade of heavy fighting form decorated with stylized foliage in two panels each side, the green felt seat renewed. Some scattered pitting. Geometric carved scabbard with black ass skin covering and original cord and tassel and wrap. Early fighting example.
