FINE VIKING RING 9TH-10TH CENTURY AD, SIZE 7 1/2

$925.00
Made for a warrior’s pinky od a woman. Size 7 ½-7 ¾. Circular with overlapping prongs band as was specific to Vikings. The expanded upper half (bezel) comprised of three conjoined bands, each with each with angled hatching mirror imaged from the middle and alternating direction for the three. Some texturing from burial but the detail well preserved. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. An iconic form, very well documented on the internet, primarily in archaeological drawings. Surviving examples are very rare. A true pure Viking ring of fashionable proportions compared to the large shield rings. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity
