Dr. Wall period in the highly sought Queen Charlotte pattern. 2 3/8” diameter, 2 5/8” height with deep tapered body. Beautifully decorated in the spiral bands of the Queen Charlotte pattern, named for the wife of King George III, whom he first met on the day of their wedding and with whom he had 15 children. The pattern is especially popular for its intricate shading/grading of the red/orange foliate decoration and the lavish gold outlining of the white on cobalt blue bands. The bottom with the crescent mark. Minor glaze flaws as made and typical.
