CHARMING AND FINE ENGLISH PATRIOTIC PORCELAIN PITCHER C.1780

6 1/2" height. Pear shaped body on vertical foot. The inside lip textured to receive a lid. Central display of the arms of England with lion, and unicorn supporting badge and motto beneath lion and crown. Hand rendered in blue, red, silver and gold. The rim with gold and red band. Plain band to the foot. The handle with gold stylized leaf patterns. Decoration complete and bright. Could have been used by a Loyalist in Colonial America during the Revolution.
