18th-19th century. 70 3/8” length. Leaf shaped head of laminar pattern welded steel with fine contrasting grain and cross banding (pamir). Long brass socket relief decorated in elongated spiral panels of foliate decoration with ribbed bun for terminal (small dent)> Hard wood haft intricately carved full length in short transverse segments of stylized cane nodes. Excellent with good ageing throughout. Rare.
