ELEGANT PACIFIC ISLANDS KNIFE SANGI

$325.00
Tboli people of South Cotabato, Mindanao. 18th-19th century. Displaying the beautiful flow of form unique to these weapons. 9 ½” length with a curved single-edged blade with a flamboyant raised false edge. Fine patina with light tool finish. Iron ferrule and medially ridged wood grip with stepped butt, retaining its original polish. Equally suitable for light work, the thinness of the blade suggests that it was made as a slashing weapon.
