Top plate for the right leg. Heavy forged iron, 12 ½” along the curve. Holes for articulating leathers at the ends and central buckle. Top left former chipped. Quite crisp with original tool finish. A heavy plate from a heavy fighting armor for a large man.  Ex: Higgins Armory Museum, Worcester Mass. with number to the back.
