One piece iron, the lower plate from the fauld (element below the breastplate) from which the tassets were suspended. 18 ½” length. Line bordered top and rolled and roped crotch. Five original brass capped rivets in foliate rosettes, various conditions. The surface with arrested brown oxidation. Reverse with old collection number . Ex: Higgens Armory Museum, Worcester Mass.
