Related to the prosperity rings or ring money. Among those, a few variants including rings with circumferential nubs are encountered. Those are quite rare and believed by some experts to be high value for exceptional purposes such as bride’s prices. This example is similar but of extraordinary size at over 2 ¾” diameter. It bears three ovoides, precisely spaced on the perimeter. The rarity of this example precludes a function as currency but rather, a gift to the Gods.
