A classic example with 14 ½” bak fullered down the curved blade. Flattened tang with incomplete base ferrule secured with a rivet and extending with the end and pommel lacking. A fine example of a well-documented type specifically identified with the region between the Danube and the Carpathian mountains. Professionally conserved excellent excavated condition.
