19th century from the General Harry Bandholtz Collection captured during the Philippine Insurrection of 1899-1902, which won first prize at the St. Louis Exposition in 1905. Detached head 15 7/8” length with distinct forge welded lamination. Tapered conical bolster. Good historic example.
