6 ¾” single-edged blade with a dropped point, with stamped foliate designs and inscribed 1821 (date of liberation from Ottomans) on one side and Greek town name opposite. Both sides with glossy gray finish and minor oxidation speckles. Hilt is cast in two pieces and decorated overall in high-relief foliage with closed bud quillons. Blue velvet covered scabbard with copper chape and throat mount, with applied eagle and floral mounts respectively. Well used with good age patina from repeated handling and use.
