28" blade finely decorated with Crusades scenes and motifs, owner's name, AND Memento Mori (skull and cross bones) with the gold background just about complete. Forte marked THE HENDERSON AMES CO. KALAMAZOO MICH. dating it 1893- 1933 when the company was sold. Plated hilt with faux ivory grip inscribed with Masonic motifs and monogram. Plated scabbard with owner’s name repeated and deep relief silvered mounts matching the hilt. Fine enamel inlay to the guard and scabbard mount, complete and undamaged.  Premium quality and excellent preservation with a little expected wear from use.
