Excavated with original edges at the forte and a segment toward the point. Whittle tang which was mounted in a bone, wood or antler hilt without a guard. La Tene period and of a form used throughout Europe to the Mediterranean, England, Ireland and Scandinavia. Professionally conserved with wood framed wall mount.
