Sept 30, 1747. The scene is a night cellar, a low class drinking den where violent criminals gather. It is in Blood Bowl Alley, (today, Hanging Sword Alley, London) named for its violence. The subject is betrayed by the prostitute whose bed he shared in Plate 7.  13 5/8” x 10 3/8” plate size, double matted to 18” x 15”, shrink wrapped and ready for framing.
