Blackstone was a prominent English jurist, judge, and Tory politician, best known for his seminal work Commentaries on the Laws of England, which became a foundational text for legal education and practice in both Britain and the United States. Finely engraved from a portrait by Gainsboro. Professionally matted to 8” x 10” for an off the shelf frame from Michael’s, Walmart etc. Genuine 18th century original.
