Bronze, 2" width, oval with a central pendant. Heavy silver inlay in a foliate motif. The balance originally gilt for a stunning contrast. The top with integral suspension loop. A luxury reserved for the noble and royal class, these were hung in groups on the reins of war horses for effect including the jingle they made. Similarly, they were worn for tournaments and field events. Rare.
