Solid silver not plated. Petite at about ¾” total height of thick section with the cross beam centered. Trefoil beam ends, crossed in the Jerusalem Cross fashion used through the Crusades. The edges extending as “crutches” at the beam terminals describing five crosses in one, known as the Crusader's cross, having been an element in the arms of Godfrey of Bouillon which he wore during the First Crusade. He was made the first King of Jerusalem. For that reason, it is also known as the Jerusalem Cross. Mounted on an 18” modern Sterling silver neck chain and gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
