Bronze, size 1 with rounded face band flared to the foliate decorated shoulders. Oval bezel with a centered dot and eight radials representing the cross superimposed on a saltire. The term Byzantine was introduced in the Victorian period. At the time, the term Roman was used despite the fall of the Roman Empire. Professionally refurbished with the gold surface restored with certificate of authenticity.
