The period of conversion to Christianity for Vikings. A remnant of the old pagan mythology. A symmetrical floral display based on the popular Viking trefoil topped by scrolls, emulating the cusped top of the heart pendants. A curious throwback to Viking pagan religion, elements of which were blended with Christianity. Such “transitional” elements were common and persist even today in the form of superstitions and belief in the occult. The form is unmistakably the Viking, heart form found in Viking period jewelry as well.  Over ½” (0.58”) height plus the loop, professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored, on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear.
