Forged iron head of characteristically early form with large oval eyes and slightly straight bit, See Swords and Blades of the American Revolution, Neumann, #10.A for another example. 5 1/2” bit, unmarked. 14 ½” overall length. Working life haft with wear at the socket.  New England attic or barn finds were brought to market in the 1950s.
