Knife and three tine fork made by the Meridan Cutlery Company. Matching pewter mounted bone scale grips. Excellent throughout. The Meridan Cutlery Company was founded in 1852. At the outbreak of the Civil War, The government purchased available stock from the company to furnish to Union troops.
