AMERICAN COSH OR BLACKJACK, 18th-EARLY 19th CENTURY

$275.00

21 ½” total length. Malacca shaft with plain butt (old splinter). Leather wrapped egg shaped head. Well-worn with storage encrustation. The length of this weapon enables it to deliver a lethal blow. It would have been used in an intense and perhaps defensive situation such as to break up fights in a waterfront saloon.
