Native made in the Philippines. In the form of the Philippines national knife, the talibon. 13” crescent form blade, forged and tool finished. Stylized, the hilt carved as a wolf. Wood scabbard carved with a raised shield emulating the stars and bars, with a V (victory) above and FRIENDSHIP below. These were given to GIs in thanks for liberation from the brutal Japanese occupation.
