VIKING WARRIOR’S HAIR RING C.800-1050AD

Gilt bronze, circular, 2.0mm at the bottom to 3.6mm at the top. The inside flattened so it could be worn as a finger ring, size 10 ½. These rings were worn in the hair, particularly around the ears. They are also thought to have been worn as finger rings. Gilt bronze with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
