Silvered bronze, 0.34” (8.9mm) width flaring to the terminals. C form, 2.40” inside dimension. Hound’s tooth borders flanking a central band. The terminals with square geometric decoration panels and transverse bars. Distinctly a warrior’s bracelet, the weight suggests that the owner was a woman. It is well documented that women fought along side men and women’s burials containing swords, other weapons and armor are documented. Textured from burial and professionally refurbished with the pure silver surface restored. See the attached images for the as found, and refurbished states of this exact bracelet.
