See The American Sword, Peterson #73. Brass hilt with good high relief, well chased foliage decoration. The guard in pierced floral motif. Wire wrapped sharkskin grip, complete and excellent. 30 1/4” broad and narrow fullered curved blade of fine fighting form, decorated in foliage and military motifs, half its length. Blade shows smooth gray patina. Brass mounted leather scabbard. The mounts original and the leather, old, but probably replaced. Tip mount lacking.
