54 1/2” length. Stepped natural cane haft. Tapered palm wood haft of square section, carved with a series of opposing barbs. Woven split cane socket. Shows great age, possible precontact, with glossy to dull surface encrustation. Capable of inflicting a horrific wound which would be exacerbated by attempting to remove it.
