Directly based on the classic heart form. About 7/8" (0.87”) total height. Shield shaped with crenulated border enclosing a arrowhead shape in high relief. That figure replaces the earlier examples with a central heart. otherwise indistinguishable from the earlier Viking examples on which it is based. Flared edges with quartered nubs. Made by the open face mold technique. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored on an 18” gilt sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
